The next component I am focusing on is the board layout. This is an integral part of any tabletop game. The layout will consist of a two by three grid . Three spaces will be for dragons and three spaces resource/setback zones. There will also be a discard zone, a resource deck, a dragon deck, and an environment zone. The game starts with one of the three dragon eggs from your resource deck. Next, the player will choose an environment at the start of play but the environment is subject to change throughout the game. The environment determines what resources are available to be used. In addition, it can give bonuses to specific dragons. As stated previously, once dragons become strong enough they gain the ability to influence their opponent as well as their own environment.  Other environment cards will be included in the dragon deck since it is their abilities that influence them to change.

  1. This sounds like a really cool idea! I like the idea of the player being able to change their environment as the game progresses and they become stronger. It sounds like a fun game and reminds me of the mobile games where you are able to raise and take care of a dragon! Will there be opportunities for players to have multiple dragons and/or multiple changing environments? I’m excited to see what you do with this!
